Job Title: Property Manager

FM Search & Select are seeking an experienced Property Manager to oversee a new commercial & residential portfolio in Edinburgh.

About the Role

This pivotal role requires strong leadership, exceptional organisational skills, and a customer-centric mindset to ensure high occupancy, resident satisfaction, and revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Leasing Strategy: Own and lead the overall leasing strategy to meet targets for occupancy, income, retention, and customer satisfaction.
  2. Team Management: Manage and inspire leasing and customer service teams, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.
  3. Operational Coordination: Coordinate with maintenance, marketing, finance, and other departments for seamless operations.
  4. Leasing Operations: Oversee daily leasing activities, including new leases, renewals, and transitions.
  5. Resident Engagement: Develop strategies to foster community, encourage renewals, and generate referrals.
  6. Performance Monitoring: Monitor team KPIs, report regularly, and implement improvements.
  7. Compliance: Ensure adherence to property regulations, health and safety standards, and policies.
  8. Resident Relations: Act as the primary contact for residents and tenants, resolving issues professionally and promptly.
About You
  • Proven experience managing residential and/or commercial properties, with a focus on leasing and occupancy.
  • Successful team leadership with motivational skills.
  • Strong customer service understanding and its impact on retention and leasing.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Highly organised and detail-oriented, capable of managing multiple priorities.
  • Knowledge of property legislation, tenancy regulations, and management systems.
