Job summary

PSD Group is seeking an immediately available Senior Property Manager in the United Kingdom for a 6-month contract. The role is hybrid, requiring at least two days in the office to coordinate with our Facilities and Property Management team.

The successful candidate will manage landlord and tenant relationships at scale, deliver a property management turnaround, oversee service charge budgets and reconciliations, and lead a team of Property Managers and Facilities Managers to ensure client

• Experience using property management systems is essential.

Responsibilities

• Support existing clients and team in daily operations.
• Lead property management turnaround and change programme; oversee service charge budgets and reconciliations; ensure landlord obligations are met.
• Coordinate with Facilities and Property Management team across the portfolio.
• Manage a portfolio spanning commercial properties, industrial parks, offices, colleges, diocese and local authorities; provide hands-on leadership and client-facing service.

Job description

A national property consultancy has a unique opportunity for an immediately available (or at short notice) Senior Property Manager. The role is offered initially on a 6 month contract. The role is hybrid and requires at least 2 days in the office.

Role

• You will be required to support the existing clients and team.
• The role will deliver a property management turnaround and change programme. This includes preparing and overseeing service charge budgets and reconciliations and ensuring all landlord obligations are met through effective coordination with our Facilities and Property Management team.
• The Property portfolio is mostly commercial properties, Industrial parks, Office building and some local colleges, diocese, and local authorities
• Substantial hands‑on property management experience is essential; the role requires a practical operator, not solely a strategic or project focused specialist.
• This client‑facing role requires excellent communication, a proactive approach to resolving issues and a strong commitment to client satisfaction.

Experience

• Candidates must demonstrate experience managing landlord and tenant relationships at all levels and at scale, including client accounting
• The preferred candidate will have a predominantly private‑sector background, with some public‑sector experience
• Candidates must have day‑to‑day experience managing direct reports and teams, including Property Managers and Facilities Managers.
• Experience using property management systems is essential; experience implementing new systems is desirable but not required.

Qualification

• Candidates must be MRICS-qualified and fully conversant with RICS regulatory governance. They must be MRICS to offer RICS regulations advise to clients and team.
