Job Responsibilities:

Join Popeyes as a Management Accountant to support our UK expansion. Collaborate with construction, acquisition, and leadership teams to manage property expenses, capital investments, and ensure accurate financial reporting across our expanding estate.

What you'll be doing as a Property Management Accountant:

• Manage property-related expenditure and reporting
• Prepare monthly occupancy costs in management accounts with the junior management accountant
• Coordinate with the construction team on capital expenditure recording and spend control
• Conduct performance reviews and commercially appraise new sites, partnering with the Chief Development Officer
• Support acquisition team in evaluating new site proposals
• Contribute to month-end activities with key insights and problem analysis
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations and follow up on actions
• Work with AP to ensure proper cost accounting and expenditure management
• Manage Fixed Asset Register and depreciation policies

Financial Reporting:

• Assist with year-end audits and respond to audit queries
• Implement strong control and process environments
• Support CAPEX budgeting and forecasting
• Own CAPEX cash flow forecasting, updated bi-weekly
• Participate in ad hoc analysis and projects

Technical Requirements:

• Experience in multisite hospitality or retail (desirable)
