Job Description

As the Financial Accountant, you will be responsible for:

• Final Accounts close down
• Completing statutory returns (WGA)
• Closure of year-end accounts and the processing of adjusting journals
• Supporting budget holders and ensuring financial data accuracy

The Successful Applicant

The interim Financial Accountant will have previously held a similar role in a local authority and ideally holds a full accounting qualification (CIPFA, ACA, CIMA, ACCA). Must be available to start at short notice.
