Job summary

Homes for Support in Crewe is seeking a reliable General Property Maintenance Worker to join our busy team. You will carry out repairs, maintenance and improvements across multiple sites, contributing to safe, welcoming environments for children and young people.

The role is full-time, Monday–Friday, 9:00am–5:00pm, with a competitive salary based on experience and skills and a company pension. If you are hands-on, resourceful and able to manage workload independently, we’d like to hear from you.

About the Role

This is a varied maintenance position, working as part of a team. Duties will include general repairs, property improvements and planned maintenance work across multiple sites.

• Supporting refurbishment and improvement projects
• Responding to maintenance issues efficiently and professionally

What We’re Looking For

Essential:

• Previous experience and tools for property maintenance, building or a similar hands-on role
• Good all-round DIY and maintenance skills
• Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
• Reliable, trustworthy, and self-motivated approach
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Full UK driving licence

Desirable:

• Polish language
