Property Maintenance Technician – Full Time, Permanent

Location: Covering Devon, Cornwall, and Somerset. This role involves working from 8am to 5pm, Monday to Friday, with a 30-minute lunch break.

The company offers a salary of £34,000 per annum DOE, along with benefits including 26 days’ holidays plus bank holidays, a company van, tablet, and phone.

Wise Employment is recruiting a Property Maintenance Technician for our client. Your responsibilities will include:

1. Undertaking a wide range of maintenance and repair tasks in new build homes
2. Carrying out minor external works such as dry lining and decorating
3. Covering Cornwall, Devon, and Somerset (travel time is considered within working hours) and ideally residing in Exeter or North Devon
4. Liaising effectively with customers and head office to ensure clear communication and customer satisfaction
5. Delivering work in a courteous, professional, and efficient manner
6. Keeping accurate records of all work completed
7. Following health and safety procedures at all times

Requirements:

• A full UK driving licence (essential)
• A trade background, such as carpentry, decorating, or general maintenance
• Experience in customer service and/or the housebuilding sector (desirable)
• A keen eye for detail and a commitment to high-quality workmanship
• The ability to work independently and manage changing priorities
• Strong communication skills and a professional appearance
• Good IT skills, including basic laptop use
