Job summary

Gemini Recruitment is partnering with a leading law firm to recruit a dedicated Litigation Solicitor. The department handles a wide range of challenging property and commercial disputes for institutional and private clients across the UK.

You will advise on landlords and tenant disputes, boundary and rights of way issues, disrepair, and other complex property matters, while liaising with clients and colleagues to deliver precise, timely results.

Qualifications

• Must have a clean, valid Practising Certificate at the time of applying.
• Professional with a proactive approach; excellent client care skills.
• Excellent networking and communication skills with the ability to market the Company and generate new business.
• Excellent analytical and organizational skills.
• Ability to use own initiative and sound judgment.
• Experience in Probate Litigation is advantageous.
• Experience in advocacy is an advantage.
• Excellent IT skills including MS Office and document management.

Responsibilities

• Report directly to Department Director.
• Manage a caseload with diverse dispute matters.
• Provide technical guidance to junior team members when appropriate.
• Attend clients, take instructions and prepare cases.
• Maintain accurate time costing procedures and ensure file management standards.
