At Clayton Legal Recruitment, we are working closely with this firm to recruit an experienced Property Litigation Solicitor.

Their Property Litigation team covers the full spectrum of property disputes for both commercial and residential landowners, landlords, and tenants. The team acts for high-profile clients, developers, managing agents, investors, and private clients.

The role:

As a Property Litigation Solicitor, you will work autonomously on your own caseload with supervision from partners and support on larger disputes. This is a client-facing role where you will be encouraged to develop your professional skills and business development strategies.

Key responsibilities:

• Dealing with new inquiries from clients;
• Managing a busy caseload of various disputes;
• Taking instructions from clients, conducting legal research, analyzing cases, and drafting documents;
• Assisting partners and senior solicitors on complex disputes;
• Managing compliance and cash flow;
• Producing articles, video content, and delivering training;
• Developing and implementing business development strategies.

Your caseload will include disputes such as:

• Boundary and easement disputes
• Professional negligence claims
• Dilapidation claims
• Breach of covenant claims
• Landlord and tenant disputes
• Nuisance and trespass claims
• Break notices
• Lease renewals
• Lease extensions and enfranchisement
• Trusts of land disputes
• Commercial and residential possession claims

What we are looking for:

• A qualified solicitor with 3–5 years of post-qualification experience (PQE);
• Strong academic background;
• Extensive experience in property disputes;
• Ability to proactively manage your caseload;
• An outgoing, friendly manner, adaptability, and the ability to work at a fast pace;
• Excellent work ethic and a ‘can-do’ attitude.
