The Firm
Widely regarded for cultivating a supportive and high-performing workplace, this organisation places strong emphasis on a positive internal culture as a foundation for continued growth. With a commitment to selecting individuals who bring both integrity and exceptional expertise, it creates an environment where people are truly valued. In return, team members can look forward to a rewarding and engaging professional experience.
The Opportunity
A well-established and expanding legal practice is seeking experienced solicitors (with a minimum of 6 years' post-qualification experience) to join its growing Property Litigation team. This is a strong opportunity for those looking to advance their careers in a collaborative and forward-thinking environment, while also contributing to the development of junior colleagues through supervision and mentoring.
What You’ll Be Doing
The successful candidate will work across a broad range of property-related matters. Typical responsibilities include:
- Advising on landlord and tenant matters such as lease renewals, rent reviews, dilapidations, and break notices
- Handling mortgage possession proceedings
- Providing guidance on legal issues involving option agreements, easements, and restrictive covenants
- Supporting residential developers with strategies for land acquisition and securing vacant possession
What We’re Looking ForApplicants should bring proven experience from within a dedicated property litigation team, ideally with a focus on advising commercial clients. A strong understanding of landlord and tenant matters is essential, alongside a consistent track record of delivering high-quality client service.
This opportunity is best suited to someone with a solid grounding in property litigation, capable of managing a busy caseload from the outset. The role also offers scope to support the leadership and development of more junior team members, so prior supervisory experience or a clear interest in stepping into that responsibility is highly valued.
The ideal candidate will be commercially aware, adaptable, and collaborative, with the resilience to perform well under pressure. A proactive and team-oriented mindset will be key to thriving in this environment.
The position is based in Leeds, with flexibility to work remotely for part of the week.
