Position: Property Litigation Solicitor

Contract: 12 months Fixed Term Contract

Work Arrangement: 3 days WFH, subject to company policy

Location: London

Reporting to: Director of Legal and Head of Litigation

Direct Reports: N/A

Job Purpose:

Join a leading Asset Manager's litigation team for a 12-month Fixed Term Contract. Provide legal support focusing on dispute resolution, litigation, and risk minimization. Knowledge of the Building Safety Act 2022 and related regulations is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Collaborate with legal and senior management, including the Managing Director.
2. Manage property litigation cases from pre-litigation to trial, with appropriate supervision.
3. Handle ad-hoc building safety and property litigation matters.
4. Coordinate with external solicitors and Counsel, monitor costs, and obtain expenditure approvals.
5. Advise internal teams on property legislation and compliance.
6. Maintain case files, records, and legal activity reports.
7. Manage deadlines and safeguard company interests.
8. Draft and review legal documents and policies.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Qualified Solicitor or Barrister in England & Wales with current Practising Certificate.
• Minimum 5 years relevant post-qualification experience.
