Job summary

Harrison-Drury in Preston is seeking a motivated Property Litigation Paralegal to join the respected Property Litigation team. You will support fee earners with file handling, court-related tasks, and regulatory compliance while developing your legal career in a collaborative environment.

Ideal candidates will have prior property or commercial litigation experience, excellent research and communication skills, and a proactive, organised approach to deadlines and priorities.

Qualifications

• Experience in property litigation or commercial litigation.
• Experienced in administrative or paralegal roles.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent planning and organisational abilities to manage priorities.
• Solid legal research skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn and develop.

Responsibilities

• Manage your own files and matters under supervision.
• Attend court hearings, mediations, and client meetings; prepare notes and minutes.
• Liaise with Counsel, Courts and third parties.
• Handle file administration: opening, closing, archiving and billing.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and internal procedures.
• Monitor dates and progress matters efficiently.
• Prepare court bundles per CPR and directions.
• Assist fee earners with diary and meeting management.
• Handle new client enquiries by phone and email; support matter inception.
• Undertake legal research and draft correspondence and documents.
• Assist with legal updates, articles and website content.
