Job description

We are working with a highly regarded law firm seeking a paralegal to join their property litigation team. The successful candidate will be based in the Birmingham office and will be responsible for supporting solicitors while building an individual caseload. The role requires attendance at the office three days a week, with remote work for the remaining two days.

This exciting role offers the opportunity to work on a broad range of matters including breach of tenancy, anti-social behaviour, unauthorised occupiers, injunction proceedings, disrepair claims, and claims against leaseholders, including forfeiture.

Daily duties will include drafting and preparing claim forms, pleadings, witness statements, trial bundles, attending court to assist barristers, and conducting advocacy in the county court on routine matters.

Applicants should have successfully completed a law degree or equivalent and possess previous litigation/disputes experience, preferably within the property sector.

Solid drafting skills are essential, along with the ability to prepare pleadings and witness statements. First-class organisational skills are also paramount.
