We are seeking a proactive Conveyancing Paralegal to support a Consultant Solicitor and contribute to the growth of their expanding practice. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual with an interest in residential property law and develop within a supportive environment.

About the Role

As a Conveyancing Paralegal, you will play a key role in assisting with a broad range of property transactions, under supervision. Your responsibilities will gradually include:

  • Supporting the lead solicitor in handling residential and commercial property transactions from inception to post-completion
  • Handling post-completion tasks, including title registrations, SDLT submissions, and dealing with requisitions
  • Communicating effectively with clients, solicitors, agents, and other stakeholders
  • Contribute to the development and management of client relationships
  • Gaining exposure to the conveyancing process with the opportunity to progress into a fee-earning role

About the Company

You will be employed directly by a Consultant Solicitor who partners with a progressive and growing law firm with offices in Birmingham, and Manchester. This position is based in Birmingham city centre, where you’ll be part of a client-focused team known for delivering exceptional service and ensuring high levels of client satisfaction.

We’re seeking a candidate who meets the following criteria:

  • Skills: Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and proficiency with administrative tasks
  • Communication: An approachable and professional individual with a strong focus on delivering excellent client service
  • Initiative: Able to work independently, manage time effectively, and prioritise tasks
  • Teamwork: A team player with the ability to support and contribute to a small, dynamic team
  • Experience:
  • Prior experience in residential conveyancing is preferred; or
  • Experience as a legal secretary/ assistant/ paralegal and/or a strong background in handling detailed administrative work and customer care
  • Competitive salary, depending on experience
  • Opportunities for professional development and progression within conveyancing

Languages

·Proficiency in Cantonese and/or Mandarin would be ideal but not essential
