Job summary

Anchor Hanover Group is seeking a Project Manager to lead planned investment and refurbishment projects across its portfolio of homes. The role involves delivering projects safely, efficiently and to high standards, improving residents' living environments while ensuring value for money.

You will work with internal stakeholders, contractors and supply chain partners from inception through to completion, maintaining compliance, quality and customer satisfaction as priorities.

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing construction, refurbishment or planned maintenance projects.
• Strong contractor and stakeholder management experience.
• Knowledge of CDM, Building Safety Act, HHSRS and Decent Homes Standards.
• Experience with JCT and/or NEC contract frameworks.
• Strong budget management, financial reporting and forecasting skills.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office and project/asset management systems.
• Willingness to travel across the region as required.

Responsibilities

• Lead planned investment programmes from inception through to completion.
• Manage contractors and supply chain partners to ensure quality, compliance and performance targets are achieved.
• Develop programme briefs into effective and deliverable work packages.
• Act as the key link between project teams, contractors and wider stakeholders.
• Monitor project budgets, forecasts and financial performance to ensure value for money.
• Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, health and safety requirements and governance frameworks.
• Support contract management activities, dispute resolution and commercial decision-making.
• Promote continuous improvement, customer-focused delivery and excellent stakeholder engagement.
