Property Development Senior Associate – 8+ years PQE
Location: Birmingham, Manchester or Leeds
Contract Type: Permanent
The Brief
We are looking to recruit an England & Wales qualified lawyer with at least 8 years PQE to join our growing property development team in Birmingham, Manchester or Leeds.
We seek a lawyer focusing on development work, ideally large-scale, mixed-use, and residential-led schemes, who can lead project delivery for our diverse clients.
The work involves complex regeneration and development projects across England and Wales, including procurement, acquisitions, disposals, collaborations, funding, investment, negotiations, and property structuring within joint ventures.
You will support clients across the UK, collaborating with colleagues from our offices and benefiting from our legal support network.
You will join our Property Development & Investment Team in Birmingham, Manchester, or Leeds, part of our UK Property Group, working on a broad spectrum of real estate projects, including logistics, hotels, residential, public sector, business parks, and infrastructure.
Our focus on growth markets positions us to navigate UK economic volatility, offering a stable career platform within a £500m+ turnover firm with a global real estate focus.
You will work with Tom Johnson, Rebecca Rowley (Birmingham), and Anne Bowden (Leeds), servicing regeneration and development projects across sectors, often through joint ventures and collaborations, with daily cross-office collaboration.
We adopt a “single team” approach, providing comprehensive services on complex, high-value deals, covering planning, procurement, construction, environmental, CPO, energy, and dispute resolution.
