Confidential is seeking an experienced Property Legal Assistant in Devon for a full-time, office-based role within a supportive conveyancing team. The position covers the residential conveyancing process from instruction to completion, including client onboarding, fee estimates, searches, and post-completion matters.

The successful candidate will have excellent interpersonal and organisational skills and be able to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in residential conveyancing.
• Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage new client instructions, prepare fee estimates and client care documentation.
• Complete onboarding and source of funds checks, issue contract packs and arrange property searches.
• Liaise with clients by telephone and email, manage post-exchange requirements and prepare completion statements.
• Coordinate completions, including requesting mortgage funds and arranging payments; handle post-completion matters and SDLT returns.
