Pertemps Network Group is seeking an experienced Property Legal Assistant to join a busy team in Devon. The role covers support from instruction through to completion in residential conveyancing, with a focus on client service and strict attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Experience in residential conveyancing
• Excellent organisation and administrative skills
• Confident communicating with clients and professional contacts
• Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

• Assisting with new client instructions and onboarding
• Preparing and managing client documentation
• Supporting the conveyancing process from instruction through to completion
• Preparing and issuing contract documentation
• Ordering and reviewing property searches
• Liaising with clients, solicitors and other parties by telephone and email
• Assisting with exchange and completion processes
• Assisting with the receipt and transfer of funds
• Supporting post-completion matters, including registrations and SDLT submissions
• Providing a high standard of client service at all times
