Job summary

Civic Recruitment Limited is assisting a local authority in Bromley to appoint an Interim Property Compliance Manager for a 4-5 month contract. You will lead site inspections, identify non-compliance issues, and drive corrective actions while coordinating with contractors and internal teams to meet statutory requirements.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in property compliance, facilities management, or building maintenance settings.
• Ability to conduct site inspections and identify compliance or maintenance issues.
• Experience in managing contractors and supervising works.
• Knowledge of statutory property compliance requirements including gas, electrical, fire safety and water hygiene.
• Understanding of building pathology and M&E systems.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough inspections of the Council's properties to evaluate adherence to statutory regulations.
• Identify non-compliance areas and ensure that corrective actions are planned and executed.
• Confirm that compliance standards are maintained across various property types and assets.
• Oversee third-party contractors to ensure compliance tasks are completed within set timelines and quality standards.
• Monitor contractor performance to ensure work is executed effectively and according to specifications.
• Develop and manage remedial action plans, tracking their progress to completion.
