The Role

As a Property Compliance Administrator in our Corporate Property team, you can use your people skills to make your own powerful contribution to delivering first‑class customer service. Bolton owns and manages a huge and diverse range of properties which need regular maintenance and repair. You’ll be the first point of contact for enquiries from council staff and building users. You’ll record details of any repairs required onto our facilities management system so that works can be assigned to the relevant contractors. You will then monitor contractor performance to ensure we have relevant documentation and evidence of completion of work and giving customers regular updates on progress. This role is a hybrid working role, mostly working in the office three days a week and home for 2 days.

The service hours are 8am 4pm and 9am 5pm on rotating shifts Monday Friday.

About You

You must be confident on the telephone and have good IT skills, being able to record detailed data on an IT system. You are also someone who’s committed to great customer service, be calm under pressure and unfazed by difficult customers. You’ll also have the organisational skills to manage your own busy workload. Knowledge on facilities management or building maintenance is a benefit but is not essential and full training will be provided.

Describe how you would handle and prioritize maintenance requests from multiple departments or locations, providing any examples that may be relevant?

What facilities management software (CAFM System) or other management systems have you used, and how have you used the system to manage workflows? Describe how you would ensure effective communication between clients, contractors and the internal team to ensure all works are completed correctly? Confirm how you would handle an upset client who was unhappy with the level of service that had been provided, and can you provide examples of how you have dealt with this type of situation previously?
