Claims Handler Role at Dynamic Loss Adjusting Organisation

An experienced Claims Handler is required to join a dynamic loss adjusting organisation providing building claims solutions on a nationwide basis. You will be part of a busy and vibrant claims handling team, managing your own caseload of new and existing property claims.

Responsibilities:

1. Answer incoming calls and handle electronic instructions.
2. Liaise with customers, clients, and insurers via telephone, email, and written communication.
3. Handle and resolve technical insurance-related questions from clients.
4. Monitor the progress of claims within strict deadlines.
5. Assess claims to determine liability and make decisions on acceptance or decline within delegated authority.
6. Manage appointments and coordinate with third-party suppliers such as building networks, drying/restoration, and flooring suppliers.

Experience Required:

1. Cradle-to-grave buildings/property claims handling experience - Essential
2. Excellent customer service skills in a telephone environment - Essential
3. Ability to work within targeted environments - Essential
4. Diary management experience - Essential
5. Experience in booking and arranging appointments - Essential
6. Ability to manage and prioritize workload - Essential
7. Experience handling challenging situations and complaints - Essential
8. Strong empathy skills, especially when dealing with customers affected by fire, flood, or water damage - Essential

Salary & Benefits:

• Up to £28,000 per annum
