Join Our Team at Sompo

We are seeking a Claims Examiner to join our Property Claims Department. Our team services a diverse range of UK and international clients, working through brokers and directly with customers to provide tailored solutions. We are committed to delivering fair and efficient outcomes, ensuring timely responses and fast payment of claims.

Location: Flexible, with bases in Manchester or Birmingham. The role requires regular travel to our London Head Office.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Manage a large caseload of claims efficiently.
  2. Oversee operational and technical aspects of outsource arrangements.
  3. Ensure accurate financial recording and reporting.
  4. Act as a primary contact for stakeholders.
  5. Participate in meetings and represent the company.
  6. Manage relationships with service providers, including TPAs, lawyers, and adjusters.
Qualifications:
  • At least 2 years of experience handling property claims.
  • Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
  • High standards of performance, accountability, and ethical conduct.
  • Knowledge of insurance industry processes and procedures.
