SpenceLooker Recruitment has a fantastic opportunity for a Property Asset Manager to join its in-house team in Preston. You will manage a UK portfolio across shopping centres, offices and industrial estates, driving asset strategies and value growth.

Seeking a commercially-minded candidate with 5+ years in property/asset management; MRICS is advantageous. Travel across the UK and a full UK driving licence are expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in property or asset management.
• Strong understanding of commercial leases and landlord/tenant matters.
• Experience with rent reviews, lease renewals, lettings and lease re-gears.
• Budgeting and service charge management knowledge.
• Willingness to travel and hold a full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Manage a diverse portfolio of commercial property assets across the UK.
• Develop and implement asset strategies to protect and grow income and value.
• Handle landlord and tenant matters including rent reviews and renewals.
• Work with letting agents on leasing strategies for vacant space.
• Identify opportunities to improve occupancy and rent.
• Manage service charge budgets and property expenditure.
• Coordinate maintenance, refurbishment and improvement programmes.
• Support acquisitions and disposals; contribute to the investment strategy.
