In this role you will:
  • Act as a key support to the Head of Property in the strategic and operational delivery of property-related matters across the Scania network.
  • Lead and motivate the Facilities Team to deliver against departmental objectives, ensuring a culture of collaboration, accountability, and high performance.
  • Project manage and oversee investment and development projects, including the appointment and management of suppliers, health and safety compliance, and securing funding where required.
  • Prepare and present detailed project plans, financial forecasts, and progress updates to the leadership team, supporting informed decision-making.
  • Manage landlord and tenant matters, including lease negotiations, rent reviews, renewals, and associated legal documentation, either directly or in partnership with external agents. Support and training will be provided for this area if needed.
  • Support the implementation and improvement of systems and processes that enhance operational efficiency, compliance, and data reporting within the property function.
  • Lead the development and implementation of asset and estates management strategies that align with business objectives and deliver long-term value.
About you:

A Qualified Chartered Surveyor – essential is MRICS/MCIOB, with demonstrable experience in both Consultancy and Client-side roles, covering Real Estate, Project Management and Facilities Management.
Adaptable – enjoys a dynamic environment and is comfortable completing a range of varied tasks.
Excellent Attention to Detail – operating with accuracy, enabling you to present reliable information.
Team Player – understands the importance of a united team approach, and relishes the opportunity to share, learn and support.
Strong Stakeholder Management - regular communication with stakeholders both internally and externally.
Project Management - to plan and manage projects, to successfully complete the defined goals and deliverables.
Leadership Skills – evidence of coaching, leading and developing a team.
