Job summary

Portland Brown Ltd in London is seeking a hands-on Property and Maintenance Coordinator to join our guest-focused team. You will handle maintenance requests across multiple London apartments, using basic plumbing, carpentry, and electrical skills, and update the CRM in real time.

Travel between sites is required, and you will work with the Guest Relations Team to keep every apartment in top condition, contributing to high guest satisfaction and smooth operations.

Qualifications

  • Basic plumbing, carpentry & electrical skills.
  • Proven experience in property maintenance.
  • Strong time management, organisation, and prioritisation skills.
  • Team player.
  • Self-motivated and hardworking with drive, ambition, energy and enthusiasm.
  • Precision and attention to detail.
  • Full UK driving licence (preferred but not required).

Responsibilities

  • Carry out all maintenance requests.
  • Ensure that all apartments are always well-maintained and presentable.
  • Respond to any call-out and maintenance issues on a timely basis, including assessing the situation and arranging for appropriate action.
  • Ensure that all tasks are updated on the Company CRM system with accurate information and in real-time.
  • Safeguard all maintenance products, by ensuring they are locked away at night and that the lock-up area is kept clean and presentable.
  • Always keep maintenance vehicles and storage areas clean and tidy.
  • Work as efficiently as part of the team and help with any tasks to the best of your ability.
  • Undertake any additional ad hoc responsibilities as requested by the Property Management Executive.

Job description

At Portland, we're always looking for people with great maintenance skills to join our team and take a central role in ensuring our apartments are well looked after.

As a Property and Maintenance Coordinator, you'll work closely with our Guest Relations Team to fulfil any guest maintenance requests or issues using your basic plumbing, carpentry, and electrical skills. Tasks will range from investigating appliance issues & leaks, painting, siliconing, & replacing small fixtures & fittings.

We have apartments situated across London, which will often mean travelling to multiple locations in one day, providing the opportunity to work in a diverse range of settings with a variety of people.

Responsibilities:

Requirements:

up to £33,000 per annum (depending on experience) + Travelcard allowance + 20% weekend uplift
