Job description

Atop Financial Services, a contractor, is looking to employ a Proofreader to join their growing team on a contract basis ongoing (potential for long-term work or permanent placement depending on workload), based in their new offices in the West End of Edinburgh. Hours are 07:45 - 16:00, Monday to Thursday, with a 13:00 finish on Friday.

About the role:

1. You will be responsible for proofreading confidential documentation, ensuring there are no spelling errors or mistakes throughout the transcription. You may also support the mailing department by sorting and putting documentation into envelopes for posting.

1. Candidates need to have a strong attention span due to a high volume of work.
2. You will be required to pass a basic credit check prior to starting, due to the financial nature of the documentation.
