Job summary

A leading global law firm in the City of London is seeking an experienced Prompt Engineer for a 6-month contract to aid in high-impact AI adoption. The role involves building prompts and collaborating with various teams to enhance AI workflows. Ideal candidates will have prompt engineering experience and familiarity with legal-tech environments. This position offers a hybrid work model with 2 days in the office.

Qualifications

• Strong prompt engineering experience across LLMs.
• Hands-on experience with retrieval-based prompt design.
• Exposure to legal-tech environments is beneficial.

• Build, refine, and optimise high-quality prompts and RAG templates.

Prompt Engineer - 6-Month Contract (Inside IR35)

£450 - £550 per day | Hybrid | 2 days per week in London

I'm partnering with a leading global law firm (one of the world's largest, advising major organisations across corporate, regulatory, and litigation matters) to hire an experienced Prompt Engineer for a high-impact AI adoption programme.

What you’ll do:

• Build, refine, and optimise high-quality prompts and RAG templates
• Shape and accelerate internal AI tool adoption across the business
• Collaborate with legal, tech, and knowledge teams to enhance AI-driven workflows
• Act as a resident prompt master, guiding best practice and experimentation

What we are looking for:

• Strong prompt engineering experience across LLMs
• Hands-on RAG/retrieval-based prompt design
• Exposure to legal-tech environments is beneficial
• Harvey AI experience highly desirable

Contract: 6 months, Inside IR35, hybrid (2 days onsite London)
