Are you a commercially-minded solicitor looking for a fresh challenge in the public sector?

Our client, a respected public sector organisation based in the North East, is seeking a talented and proactive Projects Solicitor to join their in-house legal team. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a wide range of high-impact initiatives that make a real difference to local communities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality legal advice and support to the organisation’s Projects team
• Advise on a broad spectrum of commercial and contractual matters, including procurement, partnership working, and funding agreements
• Support the delivery of innovative and complex projects, ensuring legal risks are effectively managed
• Liaise with internal stakeholders and external legal advisors to deliver pragmatic, solution-focused guidance

About You:

• Qualified Solicitor in England & Wales with a minimum of 3 years PQE
• Strong background in Commercial Law
• Previous experience advising on public sector projects is desirable but not essential
• Confident, adaptable, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
