The role reports to the Business Partner and drives category strategies, supplier performance and value while partnering with stakeholders across the business. It requires strong commercial acumen, negotiation skills and experience across sourcing and supplier management. A Bachelor's degree is required (CIPS desirable).
Qualifications
2–4 years' experience in a procurement or buying role.
Strong commercial acumen with experience in sourcing, negotiation, and supplier management.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience.
Responsibilities
Support and lead strategic sourcing, negotiation, and contracting activities.
Contribute to the development and execution of category strategies.
Identify and deliver cost reduction opportunities while maintaining service performance.
Implement and maintain supplier management programmes across strategic and preferred suppliers.
Measure and improve supplier performance and drive continuous improvement.
Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders as a trusted procurement partner.
Collaborate with finance, audit, shared services and operational teams to support objectives.
Support delivery of annual procurement targets across cost, quality, reliability and service.
