Job summary

A prestigious music conservatoire in Greater London is seeking a Projects & Operations Manager to oversee a wide range of projects and manage the House Manager and Box Office staff. The successful candidate will have a strong background in project management and estates operations, as well as experience in customer service. This full-time, permanent role offers a salary between £39,608 and £43,975 per annum, with the position available from January 2026.

The RCM is seeking to engage a Projects & Operations Manager and will play a key role in supporting and leading on the review, development, implementation and management of a wide range of projects as well as Estates and FM policies, procedures and functions. The Projects & Operations Manager directly line‑manages House Manager and Box Office and Venue Operations Officer, acting as a key point of contact for appropriate internal and external stakeholders.

Candidates will need to demonstrate:

  • Experience in project management and estates operations
  • Background in visitor engagement providing costumer service such as box office, front of house services
  • A positive and proactive attitude, and quick to respond to requests
  • The ability to work as part of a busy team
  • The ability to make considered decisions and, where necessary, take emergency action
  • Confidence in report writing, data analysis and active management of project work and contractors

This role is offered on a permanent, full-time basis and is available from January 2026.
