Job summary

Birchrose Associates is seeking a UK-qualified Projects Associate in the London area. You will handle infrastructure projects, government contracting and procurement matters, drafting and negotiating key project documents for a leading international law firm.

The role offers cross‑border exposure and opportunities to work on flagship UK infrastructure programmes, with a hybrid working model and strong career development within a premier practice.

Qualifications

• UK-qualified solicitor with 2–4 years post‑qualification experience (PQE).
• Experience drafting and negotiating project documentation on infrastructure, procurement or public-law matters.

Responsibilities

• Advising on projects including infrastructure, PPP/PFI and long‑term government contracts.
• Drafting and negotiating complex project and commercial agreements (NEC, FIDIC, PPP).
• Providing counsel to public‑sector bodies, contractors, lenders and suppliers on regulatory and transactional matters.
• Collaborating with Birchrose’s international offices on cross‑border mandates.
• Supporting business‑development initiatives for the Projects & Government Contracting practice.
