Job summary

SF Partners is seeking a Projects Finance Manager to lead the finance workstream during the integration of newly acquired businesses, ensuring robust financial controls and accurate reporting across the group.

You will coordinate data transfers from legacy systems, review balance sheets, establish policies, and work with senior management to deliver integration milestones. Travel to Birmingham is required.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant with ACA/ACCA/CIMA designation.
• Strong financial accounting and month-end experience.
• Experience with acquisitions, integration or finance transformation.
• Experience in complex or multi-site organisations.
• Willingness to travel to Birmingham three days a week.

Responsibilities

• Lead the finance workstream for the integration of newly acquired businesses.
• Review processes, controls, systems and reporting structures.
• Coordinate transfer of financial data from legacy systems into the Group's finance systems.
• Prepare and review opening balance sheets and ensure data integrity.
• Establish accounting policies, processes and controls.
• Collaborate with Finance Directors, Financial Controllers and operational management to deliver plans.
• Monitor milestones, identify risks and resolve issues promptly.
• Ensure acquired entities transition into month-end and reporting timetable.
