Job summary

SF Partners is seeking a Projects Finance Manager for a Midlands-based, hybrid role. You will lead the finance workstream during acquisition integrations, streamline financial processes, and ensure accurate data migration across legacy systems into the group finance platform.

The ideal candidate has ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualifications with strong month-end experience and a track record in finance transformation within acquisitive, high-growth, or PE-backed environments.

Qualifications

• ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualification.

• Experience working within a complex or multi-site organisation.
• Experience of finance systems implementation, migration or integration.

Responsibilities

• Lead the finance workstream for the integration of newly acquired businesses.
• Review company financial processes, controls, systems and reporting structures.
• Coordinate the transfer and reconciliation of financial data from legacy systems into the Group's finance systems.
• Prepare and review opening balance sheets and ensure the integrity of financial information.
• Establish appropriate accounting policies, processes and controls.
• Work with Finance Directors, Financial Controllers and operational management to deliver plans.
• Monitor integration milestones, identify risks and resolve issues promptly.
• Ensure acquired entities transition successfully into the Group month-end and reporting timetable.

Projects Finance Manager

Midlands / Hybrid Working

I'm supporting a rapidly growing SME that is looking to appoint a Projects Finance Manager.

This is a high-profile role combining financial accounting, acquisition integration, systems implementation, process improvement and stakeholder management. You will work closely with senior finance and operational stakeholders to ensure newly acquired businesses are streamlined into the business.

The successful candidate will be comfortable operating in a changing, acquisitive environment and will have the technical accounting knowledge and project management capability to take ownership.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the finance workstream for the integration of newly acquired businesses.
• Review company financial processes, controls, systems and reporting structures.

Candidate Profile

We are seeking a qualified/finalist accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) with strong financial accounting experience and ideally exposure to acquisitions, integration or finance transformation.

You will ideally have:

• ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualification.
• Strong financial accounting and month-end experience.
• Experience working within a complex or multi-site organisation.
• Experience of finance systems implementation, migration or integration.
