Qualifications

• Proven experience delivering finance integrations in acquisitive environments.
• Strong finance transformation and process improvement experience.

• Solid understanding of finance operations, controls and reporting.
• Comfortable working across multiple businesses and stakeholder groups.
• PE-backed, high-growth experience is advantageous.

Greater Manchester | PE-backed | Highly Acquisitive | Interim or Permanent

I’m working with a highly acquisitive, private equity-backed UK infrastructure services business operating across essential utility and infrastructure markets.

The Group has grown significantly through acquisition and continues to pursue an active M&A strategy. As a result, they are looking to appoint an experienced Finance Integration Lead to support the successful integration of acquired businesses and help build a consistent, scalable finance platform across the Group.

This is an opportunity to join a growing business at an important stage of its development, with the role sitting across finance, systems and wider business transformation.

The role

• Lead the finance integration of newly acquired businesses into the Group
• Review, improve and standardise finance processes, controls and reporting
• Work closely with Finance, IT, Operations and senior stakeholders throughout the integration process
• Support ERP integration and finance systems transformation, including Microsoft Dynamics
• Identify opportunities to simplify processes, improve efficiency and strengthen controls
• Help develop a scalable finance operating model capable of supporting continued M&A activity
• Drive consistency across finance processes, systems and reporting following acquisitions
• Contribute to the wider finance transformation and integration agenda

About you

• Proven experience delivering finance integrations within an acquisitive environment
• Strong finance transformation and process improvement experience
• Experience with ERP implementations, migrations or integrations, ideally Microsoft Dynamics
• Strong understanding of finance operations, controls and reporting
• Comfortable working across multiple businesses, functions and stakeholder groups
• Able to operate effectively in a fast-paced, changing environment
• Experience within a PE-backed, high-growth or highly acquisitive business would be advantageous
