Job description

Equans is looking for a Projects Field Supervisor to join our team in Heysham, Lancashire on a permanent basis. This is a full-time role working 37.5 hours per week. On offer is a competitive salary and benefits package.

General Overview:

To ensure all variable works contracts (Projects) are set up in accordance with all relevant BEG/SPECs/Codes/H&S Requirements prior to commencing and these standards are maintained throughout the project until completion and handover to the client. Responsibilities include pre-job briefs, daily setting to work, walkdowns, checks of POWRAs, WOCs, permits, signage, and barriers, ensuring permits are valid and extended as needed.

Technical Competence:
  • Computer literacy
  • Industrial safety and competency training
  • Methodical, accurate, and detail-oriented
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Punctual and reliable
  • Knowledge of EDF system (BEG/SPEC) requirements and safe systems of work
  • Knowledge of EDF IT systems for setting cards and work completion
Industry Qualifications:
  • IOSHH Managing Safely
Training Requirements:
  • Equans Induction (Mandatory)
  • CCNSG minimum, SSSTS, COSHH awareness (Mandatory)
  • Manual Handling (Mandatory)
  • Face Fit, Abrasive Wheels, Site-specific EDF training, Fire Prevention, and others as listed
Accountabilities & KPIs:

Includes planning and organizing work, ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations, providing out-of-hours cover, completing paperwork accurately and timely, establishing good team relationships, and maintaining high safety standards.
