Main Purpose

We currently have one open role across multiple locations. The successful candidate will be able to lead and manage a team of project engineers, ensuring effective delivery of all projects within the region, completed on time and within budget, including personally managing key projects within the region.

Key Responsibilities

1. General
2. Support the HOP with business planning and objective setting regarding the management of projects for Bender UK.
3. Maintain regular communication with the HOP on project management in the region to assist the Operations Director with managing the Operations Function.
4. Implement and document process improvements and automation.
5. Provide updates on project delivery to the HOP to support KPI monitoring.
6. Promote cross-functional working and demonstrate a one-team approach.
7. Embed the company strategy, vision, and spirit within the Project Delivery team.
8. Manage key projects within the region.
9. Delegate workload and assign projects to Project Engineers.
10. Support Project Engineers in handling situations during project management, including negotiation with customers/suppliers regarding conflicts, scope deviations, and delivery issues, making decisions as necessary and escalating when appropriate.
11. Liaise with BUK Sales teams to provide feedback on deviations from quotations during project completion.
12. Ensure projects are completed effectively and conduct project reviews (wash-ups).
