Tata Steel UK is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to own all mechanical engineering design aspects for Project Engineering at the Shotton site. You will translate concepts into 3D models using Catia/SolidWorks/Inventor and generate detailed drawings, BOMs, calculations and manuals for manufacture and testing.
You will work to maintain existing legacy models, support plant engineers, and participate in ongoing training and development to stay current with industry standards and regulations.

Reporting to the Lead Projects Engineer, the role is to own all aspects of Mechanical Engineering Design related to Project Engineering. The projects generally support the development of the Shotton site manufacturing capabilities and business plans.
