Projects and Operations Assistant

We're working with a highly reputable law firm based in Blandford Forum, known for its down-to-earth culture and commitment to internal development. They are now seeking a Projects and Operations Assistant to support their growing team.

This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for someone keen to build a career in business support, projects, and operations. You'll be working closely with the Operations & Efficiencies Manager, gaining exposure to a variety of internal projects across the firm and playing a key part in driving continuous improvements.

What you’ll be doing:
  • Supporting the design, implementation and management of firm-wide operational projects.

  • Liaising with external providers and arranging/attending meetings.

  • Managing the diary and workload of the Operations & Efficiencies Manager.

  • Helping to identify and resolve operational inefficiencies across departments.

  • Assisting with the rollout of new and revised processes.

What we’re looking for:
  • Strong administrative and organisational skills.

  • A positive, can-do attitude and a willingness to learn.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Good IT skills and a detail-oriented mindset.

  • Confidence to use initiative and work independently as well as within a team.

Desirable but not essential:
  • Previous experience in a legal or professional services environment.

  • Flexibility to travel to other local offices occasionally.
