Job summary

Codi Group is seeking a Project Worker for the Kerrigan Project in Bridgend. This full-time permanent role requires working days, evenings and bank holidays on a rolling rota.

The project supports nine residents with complex needs, including substance misuse, offending and mental ill-health. You will manage the scheme, engage with service users, and help develop and follow personalised support plans while liaising with external agencies.

Qualifications

• Relevant work experience and knowledge of issues relating to vulnerable people is essential.
• For the role it is desirable to hold a UK Driving Licence & access to a vehicle.
• More important are; a passion to work with and enable people to live as independent a life as possible; an enthusiasm and passion for making a difference to people’s lives; a strong initiative and ability to work alone as well as being a great team player; ability to deal with conflicting and difficult situations.

Responsibilities

• Lead each shift by managing the scheme and overseeing the Scheme Support Officers.
• Engaging and interacting with our service users.
• Writing and following a support plan with the individual you are supporting.
• Delivering workshops relating to tenancy management and health and wellbeing.
• Liaising with external agencies.
• Addressing any additional needs, the people we support might have.
