Job description

Archer is currently working with a dynamic independent cost consultancy to recruit a Project Surveyor to its commercial development team in London.

The team is led by three experienced Partners, and work on an impressive range of central London projects for blue chip developer clients including British Land, Blackstone and Landsec.

The Project Surveyor will be working alongside senior members of the team and take responsibility for pre and post-contract QS duties on a portfolio of projects. Duties will include producing cost estimates and plans, managing the tender process, monitoring the status of projects and attending site meetings, and negotiating final account settlements.

The ideal candidate for this role will have a degree in Quantity Surveying or a similar construction-related discipline, and be MRICS accredited. They should have prior experience in a cost consulting environment working on projects in similar sectors. Candidates should also have excellent communication skills and be capable of establishing strong client relationships.
