Job description

Our client, based in South Wales, is currently recruiting for a Project Surveyor on a permanent basis.

The position is due to start as soon as possible, with a salary of £41,403 per year.

The ideal candidate will have a relevant HND or HNC Qualification in Building or Quantity Surveying, experience in surveys and work specifications, and CAD experience.

Responsibilities include:

1. Project managing planned work projects, including pre/post contract surveying
2. Creating specifications and managing contractors, including refurbishments and refits, with project values ranging from £100k to £5m
3. Overseeing project documentation, schedules, and specifications
4. Ensuring compliance with relevant statutory regulations (e.g., CDM Regulations, Planning and Building Regulations, Party Wall Act, Control of Asbestos at Work Regulations)

Experience required:

• Experience in Social Housing
• Experience in surveys and work specifications

Skills and knowledge required:

• Understanding of CDM Regulations
• Knowledge of Planning and Building Regulations
