Job Summary

We are currently looking for a Project Support Officer to provide efficient and comprehensive administrative support to the Senior Project Co-ordinator and clinical teams delivering a broad range of large scale community outreachprogrammes.

You will act as an ambassador for the Service, promoting the highest standards of excellence in working practices. You will be responsible for the day to day project administration of community outreach programmes ensuringthat the focus remains firmly on quality and safety.

Main duties of the job
  • You will co-ordinate appointments with schools, nurseries, residential homes as well as other establishments, andensure stock is replenished within schools undertaking supervised tooth brushing, to ensure all managers and teams areappropriately supported.
  • You will be required to manage and prioritise your own workload, to work independently without direct supervision and to work as part of a team, exercising initiative in directing enquiries to the most appropriatemember of staff. You will support a cohesive team approach and be able to develop and strengthen working relationshipsboth internally and externally.
  • The post holder will need to be able to work in a very busy environment whilst remaining calm, so the ability to work independently, proactively and under pressure is important.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required to act as a professional contact point for all enquiries with the ability to exercise tact, diplomacy and empathy. A positive attitude, excellent organisational and problem solving skillsand a commitment to excellent customer service is essential.
  • You will be required to travel around London to provide project field support for clinical staff applying fluoride varnish programmes and other outreach programmes as and whenrequired to meet Service need.
