Job summary

Belfast City Council is seeking a dedicated professional for a full-time, fixed-term contract until 31 March 2028 to support a technology project.

You will report to the Project Manager and assist with development, implementation and support of a technology solution, or solutions.

The role also covers planning, governance, reporting, risk and issue management, change control, delivery coordination, staff supervision and ensuring transparent project delivery.

Responsibilities

• You will contribute to the effective planning, governance, reporting, risk and issue management, change control, and delivery coordination of the project.
• You will supervise and monitor the performance of assigned staff to ensure the delivery of a high-quality service.
• You will ensure projects are delivered in a controlled and transparent manner, focusing on project assurance, stakeholder engagement, documentation management, and delivery support.

Job description

There is currently one full-time, fixed term contract post until 31 March 2028, subject to review.
