Job summary

Northern Lincolnshire and Goole NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Project Support Manager to drive delivery of complex EPR-related projects using PRINCE2. You will engage with clinical and administrative colleagues to map requirements, manage risks and report progress across multiple streams within a large NHS partnership.

The role focuses on tangible digital and operational improvements for patients and staff, with cross‑organisational collaboration and strong governance.

Qualifications

  • Experience delivering projects using PRINCE2 methodology.
  • Ability to liaise, negotiate and agree solutions with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong planning, reporting, stakeholder engagement and risk management skills.

  • Coordinate and escalate issues and risks as needed.
  • Lead process redesign, partnering with clinical and admin teams to optimise systems.
  • Deliver systems integration, working with end users and the Integration Manager.
  • Oversee multiple projects across varied teams and departments.
  • Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including NHS and partner agencies.
  • Ensure compliance with Trust governance and policies.
  • Communicate effectively and consistently throughout project lifecycle.

Job description

The Project Support Manager will provide high quality Project Management using the PRINCE 2 Project Management Methodology within Patient Services to the Trusts' Electronic Patient Record (EPR). The post holder will possess the ability to adopt standard Project Management methods effectively across a wide range of workstreams to achieve successful implementation of the EPR within Hospital and associated Community Trusts as relevant. To liaise, negotiate and agree appropriate solutions to a wide range of user requirements to meet the project’s scope including demonstrable qualitative and quantitative benefits.

This role supports the successful delivery of projects through the PRINCE2 methodology, ensuring high standards of planning, reporting, stakeholder engagement, and risk management.
