Job summary

Volkswagen Group UK offers an undergraduate placement in Milton Keynes for a 12-month period starting June 2027. You’ll support the people network by coordinating data, reports and presentations, while contributing to projects that develop the employee lifecycle and development.

Open to any university student eligible to work full-time in the UK. The role emphasises data analysis, teamwork, and proactive delivery within a dynamic organisation.

About The Role

Whatwillyou be doing?

You’ll play a key part in the teams’ ambition to have a qualified network, with the capability to deliver. People are paramount in delivering a consistent and excellent experience to all our customers. In this role you’ll support to ensure we have the right people with the right skills, knowledge and attitude in the right role in the network.

You’ll coordinate, compile and maintain key data, reports and presentations. You’ll be part of projects to drive the people agenda. You’ll support key stakeholders across our business, providing insight on all elements of the employee life cycle, with particular focus on development.

What do you need?

To be successful in this role you’ll have an interest in people development. You’ll enjoy working in a strategic role supporting projects to add value to the people in our network. You must enjoy gathering and analysing data and be proactive in your approach. You need to have a keen eye for detail and enjoy working as part of a team as well as be motivated to drive your own agenda.

Ourplacement is open to anyuniversitystudent who iseligibleto work full-time in theUKfor twelve months from June 2027. You should be on a sandwich degree which offers a one-yearindustrialplacement.

We believe all employees should have a good work/life balance and wouldn't want you to spend a large amount of time commuting, so we requireourplacement students to be based within areasonabledistance from ourMilton Keynes head office.

What's the assessment process?

Once youhavehit the apply button, youwillbe asked to completenumericalassessment andsituationaljudgement assessments. If you successfully complete these, wewillinvite you to an online video interview sothatwehavea chance to get to know a little more about you.

Ourfinal step in the journey would be for you to attend a face-to-face assessment centre, where youwilltake part in a range ofactivitiesbased on real life tasks. Youwillalsohavea chance to meet someofourmanagers and current placement students to find out more about the scheme.

This process is designed to help us both work out if a placement here is the right step for you. Successful candidateswillbe offered a place soon after the assessment centre.
