Job summary

Volkswagen Group UK offers a 12-month industrial placement in Milton Keynes for university students on a sandwich degree. The placement starts in June 2027 and is based at our Milton Keynes head office, with full-time hours to support the network.

Responsibilities

• You'll coordinate, compile and maintain key data, reports and presentations.
• You'll be part of projects to drive the people agenda.
• You'll support key stakeholders across our business, providing insight on all elements of the employee life cycle, with particular focus on development.

Placement Details

Our placement is open to any university student who is eligible to work full-time in the UK for twelve months from June 2027. You should be on a sandwich degree which offers a one-year industrial placement.

We believe all employees should have a good work/life balance and wouldn't want you to spend a large amount of time commuting, so we require our placement students to be based within a reasonable distance from our Milton Keynes head office.

Assessment Process

Our final step in the journey would be for you to attend a face-to-face assessment centre, where you will take part in a range of activities based on real life tasks. You will also have a chance to meet some of our managers and current placement students to find out more about the scheme.

This process is designed to help us both work out if a placement here is the right step for you. Successful candidates will be offered a place soon after the assessment centre.
