Job summary

Hitachi Energy UK Limited is seeking a Project Supply Chain Specialist to manage the full lifecycle of supply chain activities for high-value projects in the UK. You will ensure timely delivery of materials at optimal cost and quality, collaborating with project teams, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.

The role emphasizes driving efficiency, mitigating risks, and aligning with project requirements and company standards in a fast-paced environment. Sponsorship is not available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field; Master's preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in a project-oriented environment with a proven track record handling complex supply chains.
• Strong understanding of procurement, logistics, inventory management, and contract negotiation principles.
• Proficiency in supply chain management software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP).
• Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

Background

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
• Proven years of experience in supply chain management, with at least 3 years in a project-oriented environment.
• Proven track record of managing complex supply chains for large-scale industrial or energy projects.
• Strong understanding of procurement, logistics, inventory management, and contract negotiation principles. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Proficiency in supply chain management software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP).
• Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and leadership abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, demanding project environment.
• Relevant professional certifications (e.g., CIPS, APICS) are a plus.
