To supervise nationally significant green energy projects
You’ll be working on projects in North West England/ borders region. The projects are in their early development stages and initially you’ll work across two of them. Later on, once we’re in construction, you’ll be allocated to a specific project. You’ll be involved in all phases of the project lifecycle, from the development of designs and surveys though to construction, delivery and commissioning.
It will be your job to ensure contractors work to agreed specifications and safety and quality standards. You’ll be feeding back on progress to the Project Manager, acting as an intermediary between contractors and the project management team.

A competitive salary between £45,000 - £54,000 – dependent on capability.
As well as your base salary, you will receive a bonus based on personal and company performance and a competitive contributory pension scheme where we will double match your contribution to a maximum company contribution of 12%. The British Energy Security Strategy set out the Government's ambition to connect up to 50GW of offshore generation to the electricity network by 2030. Facilitating this ambition will require significant reinforcements to the onshore electricity transmission network. National Grid Strategic Infrastructure will make this happen.
