Qualifications

  • Expérience solide en installation électrique et maintenance dans des bâtiments occupés.
  • Connaissance des systèmes HV/LV.
  • Formation en santé et sécurité.

Responsibilities

  • Superviser et réaliser des installations mécaniques et électriques.
  • Diagnostiquer et rectifier les pannes d'ingénierie.
  • Assurer la conformité aux normes de qualité et de sécurité.

Work Pattern: Day Shifts, Monday–Friday

Are you an experienced electrical professional ready to take the lead in delivering vital installations and maintenance across one of the UK’s most iconic cultural institutions? Tate is looking for a Projects Supervisor (Electrical Installation / Multiskilled) to join our dedicated team supporting our world-class exhibitions and facilities.

About the Role

As a Projects Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing and carrying out mechanical and electrical installation works and plant upgrades. This hands-on role will see you supporting the mechanical and electrical infrastructure for Tate’s exhibitions and buildings, ensuring operations run smoothly and safely across all Tate sites.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and carry out mechanical and electrical installations and replacements across Tate buildings.
  • Lead on fault diagnosis and rectification, ensuring high standards of engineering.
  • Liaise with project managers, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders to meet programme deadlines.
  • Ensure all work complies with Health & Safety regulations and site quality assurance standards.
  • Support Tate events and exhibitions and provide emergency response cover when necessary.
What We’re Looking For
  • City & Guilds (Electrical Installation 236) Parts 1 & 2 or equivalent
  • Time-served apprenticeship
  • Strong experience in electrical installation and maintenance in occupied buildings
  • Knowledge of mechanical systems
  • Additional City & Guilds qualifications (e.g., Course C)
  • GCSEs in Maths and English
  • HV/LV system knowledge and AP status
  • Health & Safety training
