Job summary

Aldwych Consulting, a leading firm of civil and structural engineers, is seeking a mid-level Project Structural Engineer to join its London office in SE1. You will work on education, residential, commercial and industrial projects, applying your structural design skills.

The role requires initiative and experience in design across main materials; Tekla and Scia experience is useful. Hybrid working, 25 days leave, private medical, good pension and ongoing CPD are offered.

Qualifications

• Mid-level structural engineer with design experience across main building materials.
• Experience supporting or leading design tasks is desirable.
• Tekla or Scia experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the design and detailing of projects across education, residential, commercial and industrial sectors.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver proposals and projects on time.

Leading firm of well established consulting civil and structural engineers with over 100 staff require a mid level structural engineer to be based out of their London office.

This firm have a strong industry name and offer progression within a friendly and dynamic environment,. Members of the firm play an active role in the IStructE and other industry bodies and are frequently called upon for their expert advice on complex structural issues.

They offer a nationwide service to the construction industry from offices in several UK locations. The firm offers a range of specialist services, all integrated to serve the needs of clients in the market sectors in which they operate.

Structural engineering forms the core of the practice, with highly qualified and experienced engineering professionals across the country.

Current projects include buildings design in the education, residential, commercial and industrial sectors. They tend to win loyalty from their staff and pride themselves on long serving members.

They are looking for an individual with lots of initiative who can demonstrate experience of design in all the main materials. Tekla and Scia experience useful.
