Job Summary

The Fixture Development Specialist supports the Fixture Development team in the creation, testing, and implementation of new retail fixtures for all company brands. This role manages complex project tasks, vendor communication, procurement functions, prototype reviews, and cost forecasting. The specialist will collaborate cross-functionally with construction, design, planning, and supplier partners to ensure accurate execution of fixture programs in stores.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide support on fixture development projects in coordination with the Fixture Development team.
  • Create and edit purchase orders; troubleshoot and close invoice issues in Oracle.
  • Track prototype fixture manufacturing and ensure timely deliveries.
  • Communicate project deliverables with vendors, stakeholders, and project managers.
  • Update tracking documents, including project overviews, budgets, and status reports.
  • Run and analyze Oracle historical store data to determine fixture generations and store-level quantities.
  • Review architectural floor plans, elevations, and site photos for project validation.
  • Use Sage estimating software and Excel to forecast project costs and fixture needs.
  • Create PowerPoint packets detailing test items, installation steps, and fixture documentation.
  • Develop training materials such as cheat sheets and fixture manuals for rollout initiatives.
  • Review and approve technical drawings to ensure accuracy and feasibility.
  • Support cost negotiations, quantity forecasting, and budget development.
  • Conduct physical evaluations of prototype fixtures to ensure quality, functionality, and compatibility with existing components.
Required Experience
  • 1–3 years of project management experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Architecture, Interior Design, or Engineering; or 5+ years of relevant experience in lieu of degree.
  • 3–5 years of experience in retail fixtures, store planning, or retail construction.
  • 3–5 years of experience in manufacturing, purchasing, import forecasting, and logistics.
  • Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project, MS Office, and Teams.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to multitask.
  • Works independently with minimal supervision.
Preferred Experience
  • Familiarity with laminates, steel, aluminum, substrates, and materials used in fixture manufacturing.
  • Experience with Lucernex, Oracle, Photoshop, and Autodesk applications.
